Financial Aid and Scholarship Information

Picture
Private Donors Tuition Assistance (PreK through 8th grade)

Due to the generosity of private donors, diocesan scholarships, and our St. Anastasia Endowment Fund, we are able to provide families with financial assistance. In order to qualify for a need-based St. Anastasia Scholarship, families are requested to complete a separate Grant & Aid Application.  To apply, log into the Family Portal, Financial section and click on the Grant & Aid application.

The average award ranges from $250 to $2,000 per child.  Assistance is available on a first come, first serve basis and must be applied for each year. The amount of the award is confidentially determined by a committee of school administrators who use a sliding scale, which is based on the information provided by the family and the objective need amount that is calculated by FACTS.

Returning Students Deadline:  To apply, go to the Family Portal, financial tab, click on the link "Apply for Grant Aid"
New Families: Financial aid is available for those who qualify.  FACTS Grant & Aid Application for New Families

Step Up For Students

Step Up For Students is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship funding organization that helps administer three types of scholarships for Florida schoolchildren: the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program (FTC), the Florida Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO) for lower-income families and the FES Unique Abilities Scholarship for children with diagnosed special needs which are listed on the Step Up website. All Step Up scholarships are once in – always in. Proof of income is only needed with your initial application to qualify.

Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Florida Empowerment Scholarship (Kindergarten-8th grade)

The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) is based on financial need. For example, the income threshold for a family of four was $111,000 last year.  Families may qualify for approximately $7,800 in tuition assistance per student in grades K-3 and $7,200 in grades 4-8  For more information, the application, qualifications and deadline dates can be found by going to www.stepupforstudents.org. State funding is limited so apply early.

Step Up For Students Helpful Information:
  • All applicants must have an active e-mail address to create an online application. If an applicant created an account in the past, the same email address should be used to apply for the 2022-23 school year.
  • Parents can upload documents immediately to their online application. They can also submit required documents via fax.
  • Submit all requested documents.  If any documents are missing from the application, your request will go to the bottom of the list.
  • There is just one application to complete for the FTC and the FES Scholarship.
  • Most of the communication from Step Up is via email, so check your emails often.
