Faith-Filled Disciple

The cornerstone of the education for students at St. Anastasia Catholic School is their faith formation and relationship with Christ.  In an intentional community effort to form Disciples of Christ, this formation takes place through daily prayer, religion classes, sacramental preparation, all-school masses and prayer services, feast day activities, prayer intentions, priestly guidance and church celebrations. Some of the opportunities that students participate in throughout the year are:

• Altar Serving
• Catholic Schools Week
• Singing in the choir
• Lector at daily Mass*
• Lenten Stations of the Cross
• Living Rosary
• Patron Saint at each grade level
• Reconciliation
• Retreats for Middle School, First Reconciliation and First Communion
• RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) **
• Service Learning at each grade level
