Dear Parents, Welcome Back! It has been about five months since we have seen your children on campus, and we are taking the return of students and the mission of St. Anastasia Catholic School in our community very seriously. The statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus has recently been added to the center of our campus. What an appropriate time for our school to learn more about our devotion to His Sacred Heart and His merciful love for us! Please take a moment this week to pray for our school community and recognize Jesus as the cornerstone of your family, our Church, and our school. As we begin this tumultuous start to the school year, we must trust that Jesus loves us too much to abandon us for even a moment. If we trust completely in Him, He will guide us through all of the challenges that each day will present to us. We have been working all summer on preparing our plans, our facility, and our programs for the greatly anticipated return of students. The information provided on our website, in our newsletters, in our weekly addresses, at our orientations, and in the mailed information that you will be receiving will equip your family with valuable information for your return to school. Your child’s class placement ticket will be mailed today. All families will receive the first official newsletter of the year next week. Next week's newsletter details important information that you will need to begin this exciting new school year at St. Anastasia. If you are not receiving the e-newsletters, please make sure to contact Mrs. Linette Trabulsy at ltrabulsy@sta.school to be added to the recipient list. If you need clarification on anything that is mentioned or enclosed in this letter, please do not hesitate to call the school office. We are going to proceed one day at a time for the first quarter, adapt to changes and remain open to constant improvements to our plans. Posted on our website and included in this newsletter is our return to school (RTS) plan (Click HERE). Implementing this plan and monitoring the safety of our community will be our first priority as we return to campus. Yours in Christ’s Service, Kevin A. Hoeffner, Ph.D. Principal |
