Physical Education
Physical education plays an important role in the development of the whole child. Our P.E. program, which begins in kindergarten, incorporates the use of a variety of activities and equipment in a progressive manner to meet the needs of the children as they develop. All classes are taught with an emphasis on having fun, being active, developing high self-esteem and instilling the desire to continue with physical activities in future years. Group interaction and sportsmanship are a part of all the student’s daily routines.
Intramural SportsIn addition to the many formal team sport options, St. Anastasia offers intramural soccer and basketball for students in kindergarten through 4th grade.
Health and WellnessThe Saint Anastasia Catholic School and Church Community is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, where Catholic doctrine and values are integrated with a challenging curriculum.
Through effective and innovative instruction, a balanced and healthy lifestyle, and active participation in the Sacramental life of the church, the faculty and staff work together with families to develop foundations on which our children can build their lives.
